Brockholes Balsam Busters (Balsam Busters - University taster day)

Did you know that the non-native plant Himalayan Balsam is stopping our native plant species from growing in the wild?

We are calling on nature lovers, who are looking for an outdoor, practical volunteering role to join our Balsam Busters at Brockholes and help us to rid the reserve of this invasive species.

It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn more about habitat management and develop your species identification skills.

No previous experience is needed, just an eagerness to get stuck in whatever the weather and attend one of the sessions between May and the end of July.
