Brockholes Nature Reserve has an exciting opportunity for Visitor Engagement Volunteers to join our team, based in the Welcome Centre on our unique floating Visitor Village at Brockholes. This role is all about connecting our visitors to nature and ensuring they have a great day out!

Our Visitor Engagement Volunteer Team have an essential role to play in providing a warm welcome to all our visitors. You will help our visitors to plan their day and get the most out of their visit.

You will share your enthusiasm for the reserve, our wildlife and our conservation work with our visitors and promote the work of Lancashire Wildlife Trust, along with promoting all that Brockholes has to offer.

We are currently looking for volunteers who can cover gaps on our 7 day a week rota on an ad-hoc/flexible basis, for example when others are on holiday, sick or have other commitments. We use an online rota for you to book in your sessions.

Morning volunteering sessions are 9.30am- 1.30pm and afternoon sessions 1.30pm - 4.30pm (winter) or 5.30pm (summer).
